Here at Fixter’s Falconry we aim to give customers the best experience possible, please read our list of terms and conditions below. By purchasing/booking any of our service you have agreed to these terms and conditions.
 
New Location

Please be aware that we are now based inside Hardy's Animal Farm, Ingoldmells. Upon booking you will receive a conformation email via our online booking system. You must bring along this email - a screen shot is acceptable -  to gain entrance into the park itself on the day of your booked experience. All participating adults and children receive free access to Hardy's Animal Farm, and all other group members receive 20% off all admission fees. 

Payment Methods

We accept card payments either made in person or using our online booking system, Pay Pal or Bank Transfers. We do not accept payment over the telephone or Cheques. 

Alcohol and Drugs

Under no circumstances are alcohol and drugs to be consumed on the property. We reserve the right to cancel any service provided by us if a participant is believed to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Photography

We actively encourage participants to take photographs on the day to remember this once in a lifetime experience. We do however ask that photographs are only used for personal reasons and not used commercially without our prior consent.

Performance

We ask the public to remember that you are participating in an experience that uses trained birds of prey. Whilst our birds are trained to the highest of standards we cannot guarantee their performance and no refunds will be given in the event of a poor performance.
 
Experience Days

How to Book

Visit our Book you Experience web page to book your Experience. Simply chose you preferred exprience then follow the simple steps to book yourself in.  Please note we may have other customers that have also booked an experience with us that are attending on that date, where you will be taken out as a group. Your booking will be confirmed via our online system then payment if applicable will be requested. . Once you have booked your chosen date you are permitted to amend this date within 1 month of making your booking. Unfortunately, no changes can be made to the date of your booking after this period.  
Please note any experience is not recognised as confirmed by us until you receive your conformation of booking via email. If you attend any Experience without proof of your booking you will not be permitted to participate in any of our experiences on the day and we will re-schedule, no refund will be granted.

Cancellations, Refunds and Lateness

If you are unable to attend your experience for any reason we ask that you cancel as soon as possible. If cancelled within 14days of booking your experience you will receive a 75% refund if you have purchased your experience directly from us. Any other cancellations outside of this period will not be refunded.
If for any reason we, Fixter's Falconry, cancel your chosen experience 50% of the total sum will be refunded. 
If you are late attending your chosen experience you are more than welcome to join us. However, the time that has been missed will not be repeated nor added on to the end of the experience. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your experience and you haven’t notified us you will not be permitted to join the experience but we will be happy to re-arrange for another day.

Postponements

Fixter’s Falconry reserve the right to postpone any experiences due to bad weather or any other circumstance beyond our control. Please note our Birds of Prey and Owls will not fly in wind speeds/gust over 12mph, anything higher than this and we will postpone the experience. Fixter’s Falconry aim to give as much notice as possible in the event of a postponement and to re-book with customers’ at the most convenient and available dates. We will always contact you before 8.00am on the day of your experience if you are joining us in the morning, or before 10.30am on the day of your experience if you are joining us in the afternoon. If we feel it would be in the best interest of the Birds of Prey and Owls, if we are postponing due to bad weather. Please make sure you check for this either via email or text message, if you have provided us with a number. If you are unsure whether the Experience will be going ahead and you have some distance to travel please feel free to call us to confirm.
If we have postponed your experience for any reason and you choose not to re-book with us no refund will be granted, if the alternative available Experience dates are unsuitable another list will be provided until a date is mutually convenient.
Please note we accept no financial responsibility for any additional cost incurred in the event of a postponement. This can include - but not limited to - travel costs, hotel stays, days off work and child care etc.
 
Spectators

Spectators are always welcome to share the excitement of your chosen experience. We no longer charge a spectator fee.   
However, all adults/children participating in our various Experiences will receive free access into Hardy’s Animal Farm whilst all accompanying adults/children receive a very generous 20% discount on all admission fee’s – please see their website for more information - https://www.hardysanimalfarm.co.uk

One adult is included per child participating on any of our Junior Experiences and will also receive free access to Hardy's Animal Farm. 

Exchanges

If you are unable to attend your booked experience you must call and cancel or re-arrange your experience for another day. Another person may take your place on the experience but we would need to be notified via the original participant prior to the Experience taking place.

Children and Age Limits

No child under the age of 16 may participate in any of our adult experiences. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying spectator over the age of 18.  
Any member wishing to take part under the age of 16, we recommend our Junior Experiences which can be found on our website. 1 adult per child is included within the price of our Junior Experiences. 


Vouchers

Our vouchers are only valid for the time stated on the Gift Certificate. If no Gift Certificate has been purchased the Experience is valid for 6 months after the date of purchase. In the event of your chosen experience being postponed the valid date will be extended accordingly. Vouchers can be cancelled within 14 days of purchasing your experience, you will receive a 75% refund. Any other cancellations outside of this period will not be refunded.
If, when you come to book your experince via a gift voucher and there are no available dates for your Expeience (for reasons such as late bookings or close to the expiry date) unfortunately no refunds will be granted. However, all availabel dates will be offered to you. 

Health and Safety

All falconry equipment will be provided by us. We advise to come as prepared as possible for your experience so as not to be disappointed.
  • Clothing – long sleeved tops are always advisable. Warm waterproof clothing and appropriate outdoor wet weather foot wear. Anyone who attends an experience wearing what we deem as unsuitable clothing will not be permitted to complete their chosen experience.
  • Instructions on what to do and what not to do will be provided by the falconer taking you out on your experience. Anyone found to be not listening or adhering to safety instructions will be asked to leave the experience immediately.
  • If you have any concerns, worries or do not understand the instructions given to you by the falconer please ask for more information or explanation.
  • Any concerns with physical or health issues must be discussed with us prior to booking to avoid any disappointments when attending your chosen experience. If these are not discussed prior to the booking you may be turned away.
  • We highly recommend washing hands after handling our birds and their raw food. All washing facilities will be provided for you.
Fixter’s Falconry accepts no responsibility for any injury sustained on an experience with our falconer.
 
Parties, Events and Occasions
