Here at Fixter’s Falconry we aim to give customers the best experience possible, please read our list of terms and conditions below. By booking an experience with us you have agreed to these terms and conditions.
 
How to Book
 
Contact us either via phone or email stating which experience you would like to book with us. We will then inform you of available dates for you to choose from. Please note we will have other customers that have also booked an experience with us that are attending on that date, where you will be taken out as a group. We will confirm your booking with us once payment has been received in full. Once you have booked your chosen date you are able to amend this date within 1 month of making your booking. Unfortunately no changes can be made to the date of your booking after this period of time.
 
Payment Methods
 
We accept both Pay Pal and Bank Transfers. We do not accept payment over the telephone.
 
Cancellations, Refunds and Lateness
 
If you are unable to attend your experience for any reason we ask that you cancel as soon as possible. If cancelled within 14days of booking your experience you will receive a 75% refund, if you have purchased your Experience directly from us. Any other cancellations outside of this period will not be refunded.
If for any reason we, Fixter's Falconry, cancel your chosen experiecne, wedding services, events or ay other service offered by ourselves 50% of the total sum will be rufunded. 
If you are late attending your chosen experience you are more than welcome to join us. However, the time that has been missed will not be repeated nor added on to the end of the experience.
 
Postponements
  
Fixter’s Falconry reserve the right to postpone any experiences due to bad weather or any other circumstance beyond our control. Please note our Birds of Prey and Owls will not fly in wind speeds/gust over 12mph, anything higher than this and we will postpone the experience. Fixter’s Falconry aim to give as much notice as possible in the event of a postponement and to re-book with customers’ at the most convenient and available dates. We will always contact you before 8.30pm the night before the date of your experience or before 10.30am on the day of your experience if you are joining us in the evening. If we feel it would be in the best interest of the Birds of Prey and Owls, if we are postponing due to bad weather. Please make sure you check for this either via email or text message, if you have provide us with a number.
 
Spectators
 
Spectators are always welcome to share the excitement of your chosen experience. All spectators are charged our rate of £5 per person per experience regardless of time guidelines. Spectators can be booked at the same time as your main booking or closer to the date. All spectators must be booked in and paid for 7days before the experience is due to take place, this allows for all payments to clear and to be confirmed by us. A maximum of 2 spectators per person is allowed. We reserve the right to refuse spectators at any time if it exceeds our maximum group allowance. Spectators that arrive to join the chosen experience that have not been booked in and paid for will not be allowed to participate in the experience.
 
Health and Safety
 
All falconry equipment will be provided by us. We advise to come as prepared as possible for you experience so as not to be disappointment.
  • Clothing – long sleeved tops are always advisable. Warm waterproof clothing and appropriate outdoor wet weather foot wear. Anyone who attends and experience wearing what deem as unsuitable clothing will not be permitted to complete their chosen experience.
  • Instructions on what to do and what not to do will be provided by the falconer taking you out on your experience. Anyone found to be not listening or adhering to safety instructions will be asked to leave the experience immediately.
  • If you have any concerns, worries or do not understand the instructions given to you by the falconer please ask for more information or explanation.
  • Any concerns with physical or health issues must be discussed with us prior to booking to avoid any disappointments when attending your chosen experience.
  • We highly recommend washing hands after handling our birds and their raw food. All washing facilities will be provided for you.
  • Fixter’s Falconry accepts no responsibility for any injury sustained on an experience with our falconer.
 
Exchanges
 
If you are unable to attend your booked experience you must call and cancel or re-arrange your experience for another day. You are not permitted to allow another member of the public to come along in your place.
 
Children and Age Limits
 
No child under the age of 14 may participate in  our Falconry Experiences, any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, no spectator fee is charged for this.
Any persons wishing to take part under the age of 14, we recommend our Junior Falconry Experiences which can be found on our website. 1 adult per child is included within the price of our Junior Expereinces, any other members wishing to Spectate must pay the £5 Spectator fee. 
  
 
Vouchers
 
Our vouchers are valid for 6months from the date of purchase. In the event of your chosen experience being postponed the valid date will be extended accordingly. Vouchers can be cancelled within 14days of booking your experience you will receive a 75% refund. Any other cancellations outside of this period will not be refunded.
 
 
Alcohol and Drugs
 
Under no circumstances are alcohol and drugs to be consumed whilst on an experience with us. We reserve the right to cancel any experience if a participant is believed to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
 
Photography
 
We actively encourage participants to take photographs on the day to remember this once in a lifetime experience. We do however ask that photographs are only used for personal reasons and not used commercially without our prior consent. 
 
Performance
 
We ask the public to remember that you are participating in an experience that uses trained birds of prey. Whilst our birds as trained to the highest of standards we cannot guarantee their performance and no refunds will be given in the event of a poor performance.
